  Benign Cephalic Histiocytosis

An 8-month-old male infant had an asymptomatic cutaneous eruptin of red-yellowish, plane papules on the face of 6-months' duration. Histopathologic examination revealed well-circumscribed histiocytic infiltrates in the papillary dermis. With special stains, lots of reticulum fibers were noted in the dermis, but lipid, mucopolysaccharides, glycogen, or iron deposits were not observed in the infiltrating histiocytes.   Condyloma Acuminata and Generalized Flat Warts

We report a 27-year-old male patient who had suffered from growing tumors on the genitalia and many flat papules on the trunk, face and four limbs for 3 years. Histopathology confirmed the diagnosis of condylomata acuminata and flat warts. Studies of hybridization revealed human papillomavirus (HPV) type 6 in the cauli-flower lesion of genitalia. A 72-year-old male presented with a l-month history of an extensive ulcerative erythematous plaque on the right forearm. Histopathologic findings of a skin biopsy specimen demonstrated yeast-like organisms with endosporulation. Fungal culture grew Prototheca wickerhamii.   Neck Pigmentaion in Atopics

Five cases of atopics with pigmentation of the neck were obserbved. They manifested reticular, rippled, patchy, or irregular brown discoloration and involved the antero-lateral aspects of neck. Pathologically, hyperpigmentation of epidermal basal layer and melanin incontinence in upper dermis were the main findings. Neck pigmentation is one of the features of atopic dermatitis, especially in the adult atopics.   Cutanwous Cartilaginous Tumor

A 38 years old female patient present presented with a pea-sized asymptomatic papule on the tip of her right third toe for one and a half years. Histologically the tumor was well-demarcated within the dermis and was mainly composed of immature hyaline cartilage with foci of myxoid change.   Zosteriform Keratosis Follicularis

A case of zosteriform keratosis follicularis is reported. A 44-year-old male patient had noted some asymptomatic, brownish, pinhead sized, waxy papules grouped over left frontal area for 2 years. Neither obvious aggravation factor nor related family history was noted. Histopathologically, the epidermis showed several invaginated parakeratotic columns beneath which acantholysis of the malpighian layer with corps ronds, grains and suprabasal clefts were found.   Thrombosed Capillary Aneurysm Simulating Melanoma

A case of thrombosed capillary aneurysm (TCA) simulating melanoma clinically is reported. The rapid growth and nodular bluish-black lesion of TCA is easily confused with nodular melanoma (NM), causing the patient and the doctor as well to worry excessively.
