  Erythema Toxicum Neonatorum

From July 1, 1989 to June 30, 1990, we collect 52 cases of erythema toxicum neonatorum from pediatric baby room at Taipei Veteran General Hospital. Twenty-eight cases are male and twenty-four female. The time of onset of skin rash after birth in our study are: <12hrs: 5.8%, 12-24hrs: 11.5%,24-48hsrs: 67.3%, and >48hrs: 15.4%.   Metastatic Tumors of the Skin: Anlaysis on 82 cases of Cutaneous Metastasis

The evaluation of tumors that have spread to skin may have profound diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic significances. Patterns of cutaneous metastasis were studied in 82 cases of cutaneous metastasis, registered at the Veterans General Hospital-Taipei from 1971 to 1990.   Delusions of Parasitosis: A Clinical Study of 26 Cases

In order to understand the clinical characteristics of delusions of parasitosis, 26 patients at the psychocutaneous special clinic from February 1982 to January 1991 were investigated. There were 16 males and 10 females, the age ranged from 23 to 68 years, with a mean age of 48.7±14.8 years.   Acanthosis Nigricans Limited in Acral Areas: Acral Acanthosis Nigricans

Two cases of acral acanthosis nigricans are reported. Velvety hyperpigmented plaques distributed symmetrically on the dorsa fo hands and feet, and flexor aspects of wrists. Skin biopsy revealed marked epidermal hyperkeratosis, moderate acanthosis and papillomatosis. The patients were not associated with obesity, endocrine disorders or underlying malignancy.   Toxic Pustuloderma Following Administration of Cefazolin Sodium

We report a case of generalized pustular drug eruption caused by intravenous injection of kefazole. The patient was a 32-year-old man without previous history of psoriasis who developed fever, generalized erythematous maculopapules and pustules after using kefazole intravenously for the prevention of bacterial infection after surgical intervention for his gouty arthritis .   Buerger's Disease with Prominent Cutaneous Thromboangiitis in a Young Woman

Buerger's disease or thromboangiitis obliterans(TAO) is characterized by peripheral arterial occlusion in young male cigarette smokers. It rarely occurs in women. We report TAO in a woman who presented with prominent cutaneous thromboangiitis. A 31-year-old female, a heavy smoker, presented with gangrene of toes and many erythematous to brownish nodular and cord-like cutaneous lesions over the lower limbs.
