Relapsing polychondritis is an uncommon systemic disorder characterized by recurrent inflammation and degeneration of cartilaginous tissue throughount the body.   Collodion Baby - A Case Report

We report a case of collodion baby. A male newborn baby was noted to have whole body covered by a thick, taut, and translucent membrane at birth. Ectropion and eclabium were also found. His family history was unremarkable. Histopathology of the skin showed compact and laminated hyperkeratosis, hypogranulosis and follicular plugging. The membrane peeled off within two days. Erosive adenomatosis of the nipple(EAN) is an uncommon benign neoplasm of nipple duct origin, affecting mostly middle-aged women. It is rarely reported in dermatology literature.   Congenital Syphilis Manifesting as Desquamating Hyperkeratotic Dermatitis of Palms and Soles - A Case Report

A 23-day-old female infant manifested as prolonged jaundice and diffuse erythematous desquamating hyperkeratotic dermatitis of palms & soles since birth. No other abnormality was ever noted. Serology showed VDRL(+++) and TPHA 1:640, Both her parents also showed VDRL(++) and TPHA 1:160. So the diagosis of congenital syphilis manifested as lesions of palms & soles was made.
