The safety and efficacy of oxiconazole nitrate (OxistatTM) cream was studied in 44 tinea pedis patients, who were enrolled in a double-blind, randomized, parallel and controlled trial over a 28 day time period. A-25-year old female patient was diagnosed to have Meleda-type palmoplantar keratoderma (PPK). The disease had its onset when the patient was 20 days old, and had followed a progressive course. Netherton's syndrome is a rare genodermatosis that consists of ichthyosiform dermatosis and trichorrhexis invaginata, sometimes associates with atopy. Disseminated gonococcal infection (DGI) is a very rare disease in Taiwan. We report a 43-year-old femal patient who initially presented with fever and multiple joint pain. We herein report an unusual case of multiple molluscum contagiosa with multiple epidermal cysts formation. The efficacy of acyclovir in the treatment of herpes zoster has been well documented and it remains the primary antiviral therapeutic choice for herpes zoster for years. The adverse effects, including neurologic and psychiatric signs, attributed to acyclovir therapy are also reported. Most of these effects are seen during intravenous therapy.
