Pseudoxanthoma Elasticum - A case report

Pseudoxanthoma elasticum is a rare hereditary disorder of elastic fiber transmitted by autosomal dominant and recessive genes. We reported a 25-year-old female patient. She revealed typical cutaneous and histological change of pseudoxanthoma elasticum for 5 years. However, a 25-year-old female patient. Electron microscopy revealed grotesque calcified elastic masses with mosaic internal structure. According Peopo's clinical classification and pedigree, this case is belonged to the recessive type I pseudoxanthoma elasticum.
