Angioimmunoblastic Lymphadenopathy

Angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy is an uncommon disease, though by no mean rare. In general, patients with this disorder are eldly and show clinical signs of fever, weight loss, generalized lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, maculopapular rash, polyclonal hypergammaglobulinemia. Diagnosis depends on the demonstration of characteristic pathologic changes in affected lymph nodes.
A case of angioimmunoblastic lymphadenopathy is reported, which showed sign and symptom improved following the initiation of low dose prednisolone therapy.
