Perianal Condyloma Acuminatum. With Malignant Transformation

Perianal condyloma accuminatum. Is usually a benign disease but may become locally aggressive; carcinomatous change may occur. A 73 years old female developed a fungating pinkish mass, 10×8 cm in size, over perianal region for six months. The picture of histopathology showed hyperkeratosis, hyperplasia of epidermis. Some areas showed disarrangement of the cells and markedly atypical with pleaomorphic, enlarged and hyperchromatic nuclei, increased mitosis, and basement membrane was involved by atypical cells. This is a case of perianal condyloma accuminatum. With malignant transformation and is treated with wide excision and partial sphincterectomy.
