Lichen Sclerosus et Atrophicus of the Neck

A 22-year-old female presented some rice-grain to pea sized, sharply demarcated, coalescing, angulatcd, whitish macules distributed linearly over anterior aspect of the neck with some pinpoint sized brownish spots on the atrophic and wrinkled surface. No lesion was noted over anogenital area. Laboratory data showd no abnormality including kinds of autoantibodies. Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus limited at extragenitalarea was diagnosed after pathological examination. The clinical symptom, histopathology and etiology of lichen sclerosus et atrophicus were discussed in details in this report.
