Dermatol Sinica 7: 249-254, 1989

A 29-year-old female suffered from systemic lupus erythematosus with vesiculobullous eruptions was reported. The vesiculobullous lesions were widespread with a predilection for the face, neck, trunk and upper extremities. Histopathological examination of the vesicular lesions disclosed papillary microabscesses of neutrophils and subepideermal bilster formation. Direct immunofluorescence study showed positive linear depositions of IgA, IgG, IgM and C3 along the basement membrane zone. Bullous systemic lupus erythmatosus was diagnosed. We hereby report this rare case and review the literature.
