Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath is a common benign tumor of tendon sheaths and joints or synovium. We herein report a localized giant cell tumor of tendon sheath (nodular tenosynovitis) which occurred on right little finger of a 36-year-old female. Histopathology reveals proliferation of round or polygonal cells(synovial-like cells), intermingled with multinucleated giant cells, hemosiderinladen cells and foam cells. Aggressive local excision was perfrormed when recurrence was noted after the initial excisional biopsy.
