Dermatol Sinica 8: 241-245, 1990

The rapid growth and nodular bluish-black lesion of TCA is easily confused with nodular melanoma (NM), causing the patient and the doctor as well to worry excessively. Histopathological examination is essential for the differential diagnosis between TCA and NM.
