Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus, an uncommon disease of unknown etiology, often occurs in women particularly around and after menopause. We report a 7-year-old girl having itchy whitish atrophic patches with maceration on the vulval area for four years. Histopathological examination revealed typical changes of lichen sclerosus et atrophicus. Laboratory data showed low titer (1:100) of thyroglobulin antibody and microsomal antibody. The symptom was relieved after application of topical corticosteroid, but the skin lesions persisted.
