Solitary Sclerotic Fibroma
Yu-Li Cho, Yun-Ting Chang, Chu-Kwan Wong
Dermatol Sinica 13: 153-159, 1995

We demonstrated a 67-year-old Chinese male with a sloitary, asymptomatic, ovoid and erythematous firm nodule over left upper chest wall for about 10 years. Histology revealed a well-demarcated, non-encapsulated dermal nodule composed of hypocellular, thick collagen bundles with prominent clefts. Based on the unique histopathological findings and clinical characteristics, the diagnosis of solitary sclerotic fibroma was confirmed. In addition to the case report, published literatures were reviewed in the present article.
