A 3-month-old male baby presented with multiple recurrent tense bullae on the oral and nasal mucosa, trunk and four limbs since birth. The bullae occurred after minor trauma and healed with atrophic scars and milia formation. Nails showed dystrophic change and lost progressively. Cornea examination revealed epitheliopathy. Abnormality of the big toe of right foot was also noted. Skin biopsy showed subepidermal bullae formation. Immunofluorescence staining with antitype IV collagen antibody showed linear fluorescence along the roof of the bullae. Electron microscopic study proved that the separation was below the lamina densa.
