Wei-Ming Wang, Run-Yee Lin
Dermatol Sinica 15: 103-108, 1997

Netherton's syndrome is a rare genodermatosis that consists of ichthyosiform dermatosis and trichorrhexis invaginata, sometimes associates with atopy. We herein report a 22-year-old male suffered from multiple pruritic migratory polycyclic erythema with double-edged scales over trunk and extremities from his teenages. The trichorrhexis invaginata was confirmed by light microscopic examination of his hairs, and IgE elevation was also found in peripheral blood. The diagnosis of Netherton's syndrome was confirmed, and the literatures were reviewed.
