Behcet’s disease is an inflammatory disorder involving many organs. Disarrayed immunoregulation was mostly attributed to be the underlying defect. Though pathergy is not specific for Behcet’s disease, the immune mediated tissue destruction might be viewed as the indicator of disease activity. We present a case of Behcet’s disease with predominant pyoderma gangrenosum-like skin lesions. Surgical debridement and split-thickness skin graft were performed successfully while pathergy turned negative after immunosuppressive therapy. |
