There are four subtypes of Kaposi' s sarcoma including classic, African, AIDS-associated and immune suppression. Oral lesions are usually seen in patients with AIDS-associated Kaposi' s sarcoma while the oral involvement in patients with classic Kaposi' s sarcoma is extremely rare. We report a 76-year-old married male with multiple violaceous nodules on his lower limbs for 7 years. An oral lesion developed seven years after onset of the skin lesions. Histopathological examination on the skin and mucosal lesions both proved to be the diagnosis of Kaposi' s sarcoma. Serum test for HIV was negative.
